Hi,
I'm not sure if your children attend school or not (you didnt mention their ages) but if they do, you can talk to someone in the school office and they can help you and your kids with a free holiday gift basket...including a turkey!
I know this is true because I used to work as a 6th grade teacher's aide in a public school system (I quit my job at the school because we moved to another town and the long drive was just too much for me) and we used to take-up special collections for the holidays for people who needed help.
I hope this info helps you...Good luck and I hope that you and your children have a very nice Thanksgiving dinner.
PS. I don't live in your state but I still think that your local school can help you.

Internet access isn't free and you're willing to pay for that. If you really can't afford a turkey though, go to your local church or homeless shelter, they will be serving Thanksgiving dinner, for people who really need it. If you just didn't get a turkey and it's too late, make something different and surprise them. Or take them out to dinner. Otherwise, just go to a shelter, they all have dinner on Thanksgiving.

Look for a "Loyal Order of the Moose" fraternity in you area, they will assist you. Contact their Administrator ot Governor for help.
Look for a "Moose" sign, check your yellow pages under fraternities and look on line. You can also check with food pantries, you local fire department and police department. Help is out there, seek and you shall find. Happy holiday.
