Try to only eat food that are healthy for you while you are trying to gain weight, you don't want to fill your arteries up with plaque and get bad skin, try having foods that are high in calories such as fruit juices, and go for the natural fat sources such as nuts and avocado's. Protein shakes that are designed for weight gain would also be a good idea, pop into your local gym they usually have a good selection and the staff should be able to give you some good advice.

Go to Nutrition Express website. They have protein drinks for every need. order on line or order the catalog. They have a lot of info also in the catalog. good luck. Eating potatoes not fried, pasta dishes and a healthy protein shake will be good as long as you are getting enough fruits and veggies too. Good luck.

Peanut Butter is high in both.
A good food that may fatten you up for the coming winter is milk.
It's healthy, but if you drink it with vitamin D, it's only good for you.
Try granola bars, they are actually unhealthy because of how much sugar companies put in them, but if you need lots of protein and carbs together, granola bars will be good.

if you have to gain weight you should gain wisely, not with junk food that will raise blood pressure or cholesterol.
eat three meals a day. add snacks, like yogurt, fruit, veggie. Also make sure that want ever you do exercise to stay in shape.

you can drink this drink called ENSURE ... its really high in protein and fat.. you can eat nuts,red meat(beef),lots of rice, spaghetti,and anything else that is high in fat and protein.
