Hi Everyone, I would like to share something with all you people out there that is really hurting me. For about a month now, I have been liking this guy, one day I decided to tell him what I felt about him. He blushed/stutteres a LOT! and that was done!!!! Well the next day I found out that it was his dad's first death anniversary!!! Talk about wrong timing??!?!?! I sent him a very sweet sympathy email (which was very cute) just to tell him how strong he was and how i admired him, and if he ever wanted to talk I would be there! Well he told my friend that he would reply, but he never did. Now, I kept thinking oh well! he's probably very upset about his dad. **Today I found out that he and this girl have something going on** I cant help my tears, but any advice you feel will be helpful will REALLY help me!

Hey, bad timing, wrong guy. You did nothing wrong as you had no way of knowing either situation. Chin up, he's just another guy.

Another will come along before you know it. Then when you and he are telling embarrassing stories about yourselves, you will have a good one to tell! It's perfect, a dating disaster that was in no way your fault....

Honey, I know it hurts for the meantime try to find another man , it will only coz you a lot of trouble in the future and try to avoid him, until you know he has a relationship with that girl,if he does like you then wait for the time that he will come to you.

well...he may have had that thing going on with the girl before you. a death in the family (especially a parent...personal experience) is a hard thing to go through. for you i would say to move on. just be his friend because he will still need some friendly support.

best advice I can give is to give him space, you didnt know it was the first anniversary of his fathers passing and you apologized for such terrible timing, the email seemed sincere and if it was hopefully he will recognize that and be willing to talk with you... IF HE IS READY. like i said this one is all up to him just leave him space and be ready to be there for him when he comes. Good luck

Don't get jealous or act mean now ... keep being nice and being his friend. Relationships don't last forever, so when they stop dating, you'll already be in good position to be next in line with him.

i think it's not the matter of wrong timing to talk about... sorry but i think it's about he didn't like you.. maybe better if you just be a friend with him...
