When the other child is at least 2 years old. That gives your body time to heal from the first.

That completely depends on you and your husband. We have 4 kids here the two oldest are 4 yr.s apart, then there is 3 years between and then 20 months between the last two. I was abit harried with the last two, but I think that for me, I just didn't have much time to "breath" if you know what I mean. If you feel like you can handle having them close together, go for it. But for me, having two in diapers at the same time was difficult.

That depends on YOU. I wanted mine to be at least 5 years apart that way I wouldn't stand the chance of two in diapers. My sister and I are 7 years apart, my youngest step sister is 10 years older than I am. I know women who had their kids very close in age one friend's two oldest are almost EXACTLY a year apart, born on the same day but at different times of day.

You can have baby a soon as the first one is born, but be on the safe side and wait a month. You have to recuparate from the first child, and have enough money for the second.

You'll hear a wide range of answers on this question. It's all up to you. My middle sister and I are 5.5 yrs apart, and there is 19 years between me and my youngest sister. My two kids are 18 months apart. It really makes no difference. Whenever you think you are ready for #2, go for it!

My son was 14-15 mths when I got preggo again. it was a good age gap I think, I'd rather get all the baby stuff done and over with than wait until the first was in school and then start from scratch all over again lol

well for me i think it's best to have a 4 year gap between the kids. Simply because it's very expensive to have kids. And when the time comes that one of them goes to school, you won't be spending a lot for school fees. as one of them gets older, his/her old stuff can be kept for future use of the younger sibling.
one of the benefits is that you are able to care for your first child. you can mold him or her according to your values. So when you start to have baby number two, he / she is off discovering her true personality and has started growing up. he / she can also be of good use around the house.. he / she can start being the older sibling and take care of the younger one if mommy and daddy are busy.
Besides having a number of gap years between your kids can help keep your sanity too... screaming and brawling kids can take a lot from your patience and from your finacial capabilities too.
one baby at a time... their future is as important as yours too.

depends on the parents - my kids are 5 years apart and I love that much of an age gap for A LOT of reasons. There are downsides too, but for me I like the way it worked out.
