I've never seen it happen, but I've only been to one wedding where they've even said that. Most weddings nowadays, they just skip over the whole sentence. I'm not worried about that happening at my wedding, but the officiant is skipping over it. I think it sounds a little trashy.

I have wondered that myself!, It would be interesting if someone did at a real life wedding, especially if it is one of those never ending weddings Then it might add some spice things up a bit. But no maybe in the future I will. Looking forward to see some of the answers that did witness this! :)

I never have, and I hope I don't any time soon. I know my woman's father doesn't want her to marry me because I am a woman and he'd rather see her have a husband. But she's in love with me and she's happy. She has invited him to our "wedding" and I don't want him there. He can be a major ****** often and he ruins get-togethers. He likes me, but he doesn't want his daughter to marry me. Some people play off of his moods but I don't think he belongs at our ceremony. I have a few people waiting to escort him away if he opens his mouth. I just think that if somebody doesn't approve, they should have said so before the wedding - not during it. After all, the couple will STILL marry!

Three weddings ago I saw it done, and it backfired.. BIG TIME.
A young lady stood up and claimed to have two of his children that he is neglecting.
He, the groom, immediatly asked her the names of the kids and wanted to know where they were as being there would be the best course of action. She stumbled and flatered and even the bride started to laugh at her and she went running out of the church.

The sister of a friend got married. She's white and he's Hispanic. His father was an Hispanic racist and didn't think she was worthy. The wedding was at a hotel resort. He got so disruptive that security had to come and take him away.

not sure if this counts I had to leave my brothers wedding as I wanted to so bad, I didn't believe that she was the right person, unfortunately I was right, the marriage didn't last 3 months, But I was told to mind my own business by my hubby, and why didn't some one stand up at my wedding and say no don't do it?

It does happen in real life. My brother in law had six people stand up and the parents had to meet with the preacher and swear that they were not related. It turns out that they were related. They got married anyway and started their life of putting one over on anyone and everyone they can. Interesting....

My brother objected to his ex girlfriends wedding. I was not there, and he was not suposed to be. He said that he objected, and told her that he still loved her, but the ushers, ushered him out very quickly, and she still married the guy. I thought he was full of crap until this was later confirmed by another friend who was at the wedding.

i assume that whoever invited you to this travesty is usual with the form you roll so how are you able to be blamed for reducing loose? I say communicate loud, communicate proud & then lay a great pityfuck on the groom after eating as plenty loose champagne as you likely can without puking. Make us proud, Cel!!
