That's pretty much what you have. When I got my first one and the scab came off I thought the color was coming off as well, but it wasn't...it was just the scab with some ink mixed in it. When they are first done...tattoos are very bright and shinier as well as a little darker due to the little blood being mixed with them, then after the scab falls off that's pretty much your true color. Unless you can't hold certain colors. Some people don't hold white, yellow and sometimes green to well. I myself don't hold white well.

If your tattoo has a white coated look it is still healing but you should be able to see a hint of color. Sometimes it takes a couple of months to completely heal. If you have picked the scabs off, the color isn't going to come back. After the tattoo is healed if the color hasn't come back (even if it is scared) it can be gone over and re-colored.

When the scab falls off, what color is there is what it is going to be. That is just how is goes.

sometimes when the scab falls off thats just the color its going to be but i noticed with mine that the color comes back somemore over 1 week

If the colors aren't there right now.. they aren't coming back.. if you picked the scabs off then you probably scared your sking and they won't be able to tatoo over it again to put the color back..
