No, Sir. It was a nursery rhyme, no more, no less.
But, like everything else, people can and may read meanings into anything.
Have a nice day.

RE:
Does the song "Mary had a little Lamb" have anything to do with Jesus?
Think about it. Mary was the mother of Jesus and Jesus was considered the "Lamb of God". Is this childhood song a secret way for christians to teach children about Christ?

The orgins of Mary had a little Lamb have nothing to do with Jesus, it's about love.

I think it does, but I think of it in a different way. I think the song is about Mary and her lamb, not Jesus. Maybe it has to do something with Jesus, maybe the lamb is Jesus.

Yes! Check this out...
"Mary had a little lamb
Little lamb, little lamb
Mary had a little lamb
Its fleece was white as snow
[Mary "had" or gave birth to Jesus, the little lamb. He lived a pure and blameless life, "white as snow"]
And everywhere that Mary went
Mary went, Mary went
Everywhere that Mary went
The lamb was sure to go
[Jesus is God in the trinity, God is omnipresent, so God did follow Mary everywhere she went]
He followed her to school one day
School one day, school one day
He followed her to school one day
Which was against the rule
[The Christian belief of Jesus being God is hated, or "against the rule" in public places, even in the time of Jesus, the authorities thought it to be against the rule]
It made the children laugh and play
Laugh and play, laugh and play
It made the children laugh and play
To see a lamb at school
[Many people in public places will laugh and joke around if you proclaim the deity of Christ openly]
And so the teacher turned him out
Turned him out, turned him out
And so the teacher turned him out
But still he lingered near
[The authority figure is making sure any idea of Jesus is removed from the public place, but God still stays near to Mary, omnipresent, always with her especially in time of persecution]
And waited patiently
Patiently, patiently
And wai-aited patiently
Til Mary did appear
[God is patient to wait for us to come back to him, "Mary did appear" because it is we who come back to God after going away from him, he was always patient and waiting]"
Look up the scriptures regarding these doctrines. It is all biblical.
Amen.
Praise Jesus.
Have a nice day.

Most nursery rhymes and mother goose poems and riddles were written as political comments of the times. Today we have political cartoons in the news papers. This particular rhym was written long ago in US by a teacher for her pupils, why? I don't know. But it was fun for them I'm sure.

Huh, how interesting. I never made that connection. Perhaps whoever wrote that ditty had that in mind. Will have to do some research.

It would make some weird sense...but Jesus didn't really follow Mary wherever she went.
