This is a general question and was wondering if this sort of behaviour changes in time. I also would like to know, why the team leaders act this way? Will he change?

Rude people tend to stay that way. I do not believe people who are this way typically change. I think this is a reflection of how people are brought up.

Common, unfortunately too often. However, in an organization, this would be a counter productive group situation. In most groups someone emerges as a leader and being stubborn, harsh or rude would not be qualities people look for in a leader.

Its doubtful he will change, he will likely get worse. What you describe is a bully...and the only chance for change you have is to set boundaries (lines you will not allow him to cross) and stand up to him.

Leaders shouldn't be rude.
although i have had some juniors rebel and not want to do the most common of duties because they think they are too good to do them.

We all start from the ground up..
Sometimes i have found juniors forget that.
I would only be demanding if they start acting like 2 year olds and say they dont have to do something that is already part of the job description.
Demanding not rude, firm not harsh...
Just giving them the point to do there job..
otherwise they are not worth having around or being employed.
Welcome to the work force.

'Team leaders' with the mentioned attributes should not be a 'leader' at all! It is not common. Leaders need to know 'different strokes for different folks', not all people are not the same. No one style of management/leadership to suit all. They also need to know when to use the carrot and stick treatment.
