I was wondering if any one knew of a place to get a nice wedding gown at a good price in either the columbus, Oh or parkersburg, WV area. Trying to keep price of dress under $500. Any help appreciated!!

It's been awhile since I've been up that direction. Tho' my fiance plays up there in Grove City every few weeks.
I'd bet that if you went outside of Columbus, you'd stand a better chance of finding a dress in your price range. I'm afraid that in Columbus, you'd pay Columbus prices. Then again, the larger stores might be able to give you a better deal.
Have you any idea what kind of dress you want?
Remember that if you find a dress you like, see if the shop will get you that design in a different fabric. Usually they can. They don't mention this because they're out to make money.
Satin will work just as well as silk. And I've never heard anyone say, " Gee, the wedding was great, but did you feel the wedding gown fabric?!"

Try Davids Bridal.They have nice gowns under $500 and you might be able to catch a $99 sale.
