Fuji Rock Festival has loads of bands. It's a 3 day concert in Niigata on the last weekend of July.

Summer Sonic is similar and is held in Tokyo around August.

Then there's Earth Celebration a 3-day taiko drum concert on Sado Island the third weekend of August
