Bathe daily. Regular bathing helps keep the number of bacteria on your skin in check.
Dry your feet thoroughly after you bathe. Microorganisms thrive in the damp spaces between your toes. Use OTC foot powders to help absorb sweat.
Choose shoes and socks made of natural materials. Shoes made of natural materials, such as leather, can help prevent sweaty feet by allowing your feet to breathe.
Rotate your shoes. Shoes won't completely dry overnight, so try not to wear the same pair two days in a row if you have trouble with sweaty feet.
Wear the right socks. Cotton and wool socks help keep your feet dry because they absorb moisture. When you're active, moisture-wicking athletic socks are a good choice.
Change your socks often. Change socks or hose once or twice a day, drying your feet thoroughly each time. Women may try pantyhose with cotton soles.
Air your feet. Go barefoot when you can, or at least slip out of your shoes now and then.

Get rid of stinky shoes! LOL Wear socks, put some powder or baking soda on your feet. Keeps them dry. Let your feet air out as much as possible. Buy antimicrobial socks they fight bacteria.

Your doctor can prescribe something for you if it's REALLY bad.

For the most part I think it's just cheap shoes that cause it and don't wear sneakers all day. Spray with Febreeze and air them in the sun.

I'd find out why they smell, do you wash them daily and put on fresh socks daily? What about shoes, ever wear them without socks? There are different things like odor eaters, foot deoderants, and powders you can buy for socks and shoes but they only mask the problem not eliminiate it. You want to wash you feet every day, I would use tea tree oil with a cotton ball to rub on them as well as it's a known germ killer and helps with different fungal problems plus it helps reduce odors. Make sure you don't wear socks more than once and if sweaty change them and wash your feet when you change them, if your shoes are soaked with sweat, wipe them out with tea tree oil and let dry in front of a fan or heater to really dry them out and kill bacteria. Buy new shoes if they keep getting wet and sweaty repeatedly.

Try wearing only cotton socks for starters. Then, add a little baking soda in your shoes and maybe even sprinkle a bit inside your socks. That should eliminate the odor.

Soak the feet in some warm water with tea tree oil added. Tea tree is anti-fungal and anti-bacterial and will kill the bacteria causing the smell.
