Find a curling iron with the biggest barrel you can find--those curls look like they were made with AT LEAST a 2 inch barrel, if not a 3 inch one.
After washing your hair, work in some mousse to get body and so when you curl your hair the curls will hold.

Easy. There is a tool that looks like a curling iron, but it has 3 barrels on it, almost like a crimper. They sell them everywhere that there are other hair products. You just do it while your hair is a little bit damp, and the waves will come out really nice. I reccomend using a super hodl hairspray though, because if you have hair that is as thick as mine, it wont stay in without some type of spray, gel, or mousee.

It takes mousse and or gel and a blow dryer. A nice soft perm or a texture perm will help. My friend has been using the foam stick rods, they do very well on straight hair without making it look too curly.

Comb it ibe way and see what waves form naturally after you've towelled off enough wet for it to wave. Try combing it in another way, and see what waves form naturally, worn that way. I would not plan on trying to make waves where they don't naturally fall into place. Just make use of the waves that are there.

Mouse and scunching it will do wonders to get it looking wavy or curly... Otherwise overnight get some rollers and sleep in them... Might help but its a pain sleeping in rollers. Get a girlfriend to put your hair in rags. Nicest curl you will ever see

lots of mousse when its wet then scrunch scrunch scrung while lightly blowdrying. NO brush!

After you shower, towel dry it, and french braid your hair. When your hair's dry, undo the braid.
