Dogs can be allergic to pretty much the same things we can be. Corn, soy, and msg are ones to watch out for. There are a lot of toxic foods for dogs though. Chocolate, as many have mentioned is one. Grapes, raisins, macadamia nuts, onions, caffeine, artificial sweetners in gum and mints, ibuprofen & acetaminophen can all kill your dog.

Take her to the vet. It can be anything from position of the watering bowl, an allergic reaction to an additive in the water (both of these were stated above) or it can be a blockage. My female boxer was doing the same thing. After about 2 days of this I took her to the vet, because it just was not normal for her. Turns out she had eaten one of those 25 cent gumball machine toys that are like jelly bugs (I don't even know what they're called). Part of it was stuck in her stomach and the rest of it was stretched out snaking it's way through her intestines. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the toy, it was unable to pass through on its own. They ended up having to operate on her to get it out. The vet did say that one or two more days and she would have probably have died of dehydration.

Of course! Seeing as "human" food is used to make dog food - meats, grains, etc. then yes it's possible. Many dogs are allergic to cheese.

Yes, for instance the well known chocolate. But many dogs can be lactose intollerant, as well. Dogs, just like humans, do have allergies which can be caused by food. The best practice is to stick to dog food.

Chocolate and cows milk are the obvious two. Some Labradors are allergic to corn and other fillers that they include in dog food.

yes dogs can be allergic to things jus tlike humans. or they might not be allergic.. the food might just not be good for digestive system

yes i have a little jack russel who is allergic to food colourings, spices, dairy and just like all other dogs,chocolate

and even if they are not allergic many have stomach issues digesting the food and get terrible gas
