The easiest way to get rid of Gingivitis is BRUSHING BruSHING and More Brushing. Make sure you are removing everything from your teeth, any little bit of plaque that you leave will allow the infection called Gingivitis to continue. Keep Brushing, flossing and using the listerine and the bleeding should stop in about 7 days. If not... be sure to visit your dental hygienist for a cleaning! GOOD LUCK!!!!

Brush after every meal, holding your toothbrush at a 30 degree angle towards your gums and FLOSS!! It is all about removing food debris from your gumline before it has a chance to turn into plaque. You also need to make sure you see a dentist, you may have a more advanced form of periodontal disease that will require a deep cleaning and a perscription mouth rinse.

Go to the dentist and have you dentist clean your teeth down below the gum line. That will clean your teeth the best and get rid of the gingivitis best. Then you can keep up with good hygiene habits, brush and floss and go in for regular check ups. Don't smoke. That causes your gums to reseed. Massage your gums daily.

In addition to the other suggestions people are making about dental hygiene take a LOT of vitamins. When people go to the dentist with this problem the primary therapy is injections of vitamins in the gums (with a real big scary needle).

Flossing is the most important thing to do. Floss very good then brush. Don't brush until you bleed, that is just giving the bacteria more food to thrive on. After flossing and brushing rinse out your mouth.

Also, use a soft bristle toothbrush.
