I'm thinking about converting to Judiasm, and before I look into it further, I want to know if being gay, lesbian or transgendered is accepted. It's very important to me to find a religion that accepts it. Does Judiasm allow this? If not, what are some religions that do?

Orthodox Jews consider it an abomination, although there are gay Orthodox Jews. I wouldn't recommend converting to that "denomination." I think they're accepted in Conservative Judaism, but not sure how welcome they are. They are welcomed in Reform Judaism and serve as rabbis and cantors.

The torah is the first four books of the bible, which the Jews go by, including the every offending anti-gay part. You won't have any better luck with islam. Any religion which is serious about God isn't going to accept homosexuality, except the offshoots which aren't usually recognized by the orthodox churches.

Judiasm does not accept homosexuality, unless you go to a very Liberal sect of jews.

are you looking for a religion for spiritual expression or for their politics?
I have a few friends that were disillusioned with their religion because of the way their friends or family were treated when they announced they were gay.
Don't let resentments cloud your relationship with God. There will always be people showing different values to you. Be true to your relationship with God. Leave the politics out of it

i'm sorry, but if you are looking for a religion which considers homosexuality to be normal, you should probably not pick a biblical religion. try wicca or buddhism or something along those lines.

I think you would fit in fine with a Reform congregation.

I went to a synagogue once, the Rabbi was a lady and Cantor was her partner....another woman.
