HI Robert, well I work with people dealing with pet loss, grief counselling so I can't say for sure with humans but I'll try to give you a little insight.

You struggled so hard and probably were strong and did what you had to do to get through it, now you got a good job and you know things are gonna change for the best, it's like you accomplished something wonderful and sometimes when we realize things are just plain good, we let ourselves relax, we let our guard down and sometimes emotions slip out at that point, like massage therapists find many people cry or talk about things during a massage that they would not normally, they are relaxed at that point and to some degree with your finances and life changing for the best, you did relax and that's why you cried, you let out probably years of frustrations and struggles, an emotional release which is very good. You cleansed your emotions so you can tackle the new job and do your best ever. I think maybe your anxiety and panic disorder were probably brought on before by your struggles, you had alot of stress before, low esteem and hard to make ends meet. I'm so happy for you that you got a good job! Right now think about the job, think how good it is to have security at last. Congrats!
