well some use power for good and they make the most out of it to help . others let power go to their head and become evil and do evil things and forget about decency. or they just had an evil heart before they had power . or a good heart.

It's always the case. When the power has provided all the needs, we will then move on and use it to obtain what we want, often to the maximum possible way.
This varies according to the conditions the person is in. Not everyone will take advantage of it.
So I'll say its due to environment conditions, situations and influences.

because of sin, and when you give someone power, it is only human nature to go to far with it. that is why we must walk in the spirit at all times, and stay grounded through prayer.

Man is basically greedy by nature and when he has power he will try and take advantage of others, situations etc..
