(John 14:28) 28 YOU heard that I said to YOU, I am going away and I am coming [back] to YOU. If YOU loved me, YOU would rejoice that I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am.
(1 Corinthians 11:3) 3 But I want YOU to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn the head of a woman is the man; in turn the head of the Christ is God.

There is a role we each are to have in religious matters. The Father has the ultimate authority, and we should submit to that authority.

This chain of authority is not an insult to any if it is viewed correctly and without abuse of authority. In fact each person is important in their own role.

The problem comes when men do not want to follow the authority of God, but want to do things their own way. God is God, and we are not!

God wants us to follow Him, and the things he desires for us to do will in the end be good for us. He loves us and cares for us! When those who have authority over you are trying to lead you in a loving way that will benefit you, it should not be hard for you to follow.

Jo. 14:28 means that Jesus knew that he was going away (being killed) and that his disciples should be happy that he is returning to heaven where eventually he would take his heavenly throne.

1Cor 11:3 means just what it says. Everyone has a head or is in subjection to someone--even Christ. Christ is in subjection to God but is head over man. Man is in subjection to Christ but is the head of a woman (in the marriage arrangement). Only God is not in subjection to anyone else.

These bible text show that Jesus himself admits that He himself isnt "god" how most people think, but that there is one greater than Jesus himself. "The Father" or "God" that by the way, has a name. Jesus is saying that god (which is the only father) is greater than Jesus himself because god created Jesus so that he could be our example... "The leader of the man is the Jesus Christ, the leader of the woman is the man, therefore the leader of Christ is God that is the Father of all and the Greatest.

The bible here states clearly that God is the Greatest of all but never forgetting what Jesus did for humanity. Colossians 1:13-15

I am very proud of you for reading the Bible. And sometimes I know its kinda hard to understand what it means, but what I think is (John 14:28) you know Jesus went to Heaven and is coming back again. So He was talking to his disciples and in verse 9 its says, "Jesus said to Him, 'Have I been with you so long and yet you have not known Me, Phillip? He wo has senn Me has seen the Father, so how can you say,'Show us the Father'?' " Since Phillip asked to show him the Father and it's sufficient for us. So what I think its saying is that Jesus is telling them that He is going to leave us the 3 day of the resurection, but dont be sad because he is going to the Father who is greater than him.
The question is are you ready for the coming of the Lord? Is there any sins you need forgiven?
On to the next one. yikes.....let me look it up here.....Ahhhhh.....It says in verse 1 that We are to imitate Paul as he imitates Christ. And in the beginning woman was made from man and "the head of every man is in Christ" so be like him and "the head of woman is man" we were made through man and "the head of Christ is God" so woman was in man and man is in Christ and Christ is in God. It basically gives us a explination of how we work up to God. The spiritual aspect is "Is your head turned to God? Are you doing all you can to be like Him?"

I really hope that this is homework, but that you were reading and didnt know what it meant. If it is for home work, please dont copy of my work. God Bless!

John 17:3,5,24; Col.1:15-17; Rev.3:18 Jesus is the first creation created in the image of God. Jesus ascended John 3:13-17 John 20:17 to his father to wait until Satan the god of this world has no more time from Rev.12:3,4,6-11,12 here to here Rev.20:1-6;
2Cor.4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 2Cor.4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Well first off i hope that this is what the verse really states... I don't have my Bible handy and i don't know that verse... But if that is correct then i would say that to me it means that we are to follow God through all aspects of our lives because he is the only way, he is gone from earth for now because he chose to die for our sins, but he will be coming back on judgment day... If we love him as we say that we do then we will rejoice in his name sake.. as for Corinthians that verse means that he wants us to know that man comes from the father " God" women were created first from Adam, and Jesus God's son was created from through God... I hope that i said all that in an understanding point of view... God bless..

Well, to me it means that Jesus ascended up to Heaven where He sits on the throne waiting until the time when He will return to earth for His church. (The rapture.) We rejoice in that fact and live to glorify Him until He comes for us and.... the 2nd part, is how God's church is set up. Jesus is head of the church, man is head of his family and loves his wife as Jesus loves the church and God the Father is head of Jesus, but He made Christ head over all. Is that what you're thinking? Happy Thanksgiving! :)
