There is this guy I like and we are good friends the problem is he doesn't really get along with my friends, and that doesn't mean they hate each other, they are just really different and so they are not friends. I know it is shallow to worry about what people think about who I date but I do like this guy... is it ok that I like him?

It is ok to date him. Who is going to sleep with him you or your friend? So don't worry about it. It will all work out in the wash.You don't tell her who she can date do you? I wouldn't worry about it if you are happy. You are the person that has to put up with the guy. That is what I told my parents 22 years ago. They like him now. They can see that he makes me happy and he is a good father. We have been married 20 years now. Good luck.

Of course it's ok you like this guy. You are you and not someone else and if you begin to choose who you like for your friends, you may as well say good bye to yourself now. You will no longer be YOU.

There are too many things going on here! Talk with you friends first. See if their complaints have a good basis. Speak to him, see what his problem with them are, does he have a good argument. Someone is lying, jealous or both. Or are you missing a bigger picture!

It's pretty obvious. My friends make fun of my bf, so what> I get over it. U gotta get used 2 it. If ur friends really have a prob w/ this dude, then oh well.

They can't make you not like him. Try to find out something your friends and him like, like a type of music, T.V show, anything like that. If your friends are your real friends they would understand.

I think it is totally ok to like this guy. You shouln't care what other people think and they are really your friend they will be supportive instead of being judgemenatal.
