The easiest way is to start by visibly marking the area you want them to go in..with either a small three sided fenced area, or at the least with some flag markers..something the dogs can temporarily use to recognize the area.
For the fastest success rate, you'll need to take them out on leash for awhile..otherwise you have no way to show them exactly what is expected, and praise the behavior you want (in this case, going in a specific area)
For a bit, keep the dog door closed. Take them out on leash each time, and take them directly to the area you want them to eliminate in. When they go in this area, praise, praise, praise, and offer a treat. With consistency, they'll seek out this area on their own.

Normally, dogs by nature will go away from the actual house. If there is enough yard and a acre is fine for 3 large dogs. You did not indicate the ages of labs or how long you have had.
Mine normally go out toward the fence line and away from immediate yard to house. I do scoop my yard periodically, especially any messes close to house where I walk. I leave the messes that are where I prefer them to go. That helps.
However, if an area gets too nasty the dogs will find a clean area. They are not dumb. Dogs do not mess where they like to play and lie around, eat, drink or sleep. Not unless forced to by idiots that put them on a chain and leave them forever in a nasty mess.
Look over the yard and see if you find the area they are using most. Keep it under control and don't let accumulate anywhere. But leave fresh ones that are in area you prefer. And NO they are not all going to mess in one spot. They will urinate and mark each others spot. But they tend to seperate the #2 areas by nature.
It's great they have the doggie door to go out as needed. BUT that does not mean that you do not need to be out there to set some rules and let them know what you want. If you have a people area near house that you don't want messed then you have to tell them. Labs are smart and learn quick. They can't read your mind!
Keep the people area clean. Walk and exercise with them in the area you prefer and praise. If you keep the people area clean they will catch on. If one messes in wrong area let them see you scoop and carry over to "acceptable" area. They will go and sniff out the situation.
If these are still younger dogs it may take a little longer. Pups tend to go where they are when the urge hits. They are too busy playing and then "oops". Not enough time to "pick" the right spot. Still the same approach. Mature dogs take their time finding just the right spot and you'll see they are looking for the spot and can encourage them to the "area".
I am busy retraining the neighbor's 2 adult male dogs in several issues. When I would take them out I learned right away where they preferred to do the business, same area for #1 and a diff area for #2. Each dog had its own areas! They may mark each others area. But I suspect each lab will have its favorite #2 area.
Good luck and thanks for asking

Is he a small canines? Many small dogs have a problematical time potty preparation, they are purely small that you'll be able to sneak away to places and previously you comprehend it, that's too late. in view that this looks his widespread spot, for now i'd purely forestall get perfect of entry to to the mattress. do not provide him opportunities to have injuries, for every time he can bypass poop interior, it reinforces its ok. purely be sensible to take him out to do his corporation each and every 3 hours or so and praise him allot even as he does it wisely outdoors.

We have tried to get our dogs to "go" in just one part of the yard without success. But ours have full run of the back yard also and I feel that if we had time to go out everytime they go out, we could take them to the spot and have them go there. My husband has tried moving their little presents all to one area, trying to get them to go just there. What it has come down to with us, is that I bought a fenced in area just for them. In there free time without us out there they will be in the fence. When we are out there, they can run in the big fenced in yard, and then we can catch them going in the wrong place and correct them. Jeez, not sure I helped! Good Luck.
