I have two cats, both female. Every time my one cat goes finishes being in heat she is very grouchy. I mean she stops all the rubbing and raising her butt in the air, but she is very ornery. She hisses at me and the other cat, this lasts a couple days, then she is her sweet self again. Why does she act like this? Is this normal?

It's normal, get her spayed and it will stop. She gets cranky because she was not impregnated, and her hormones go wacky after her heat cycle. She needs to be spayed, Mom.

It's hormonal. She is having PMS for cats! Poor baby! Get her fixed so she doesn't have to live with it. Good luck!

Getting her spayed will probably calm her down a lot. If I were you, I'd have it done soon.
