I think I lost a Word document. I've been saving it as I go, but I can only find a version from a few months ago. I hate to think that I've lost 15-20 pages of writing. Is there any way to get my most recent version back? I've been saving them all under the same file name, so it's just one file with many incarnations. Yes, I've tried to search for it using the toolbar. I also used PC Inspector File Recovery, with no luck. Please help!

cl on Start
cl Search
cl Files or Folder
type most of the filename star dot star
For example: to search for all files named filename
In the search box type file*.*
That will cause a list of all files beginning with "file" and ending in any extension.

In Word, I have chosen to create backups. They are easily deleted but can save your bacon when something like this comes up. To do this, in Word:
cl Tools, Options, Save
cl in the box to always create backups.
