Barely. Limewire has become a breeding ground for spyware and viruses. I suggest only using it for music files. Even then, be very careful, use a firewall and Anti-Virus program. It's not illegal do download programs as long as you have the original discs for the game/application. You get in more trouble for uploading media and distributing it freely. If you want do download a game I suggest using a program called uTorrent. It's free at www.utorrent.com. To find game files to download I suggest www.torrentspy.com or www.torrentfinder.com. Note, this is only for use if you have the original copy and want to download the files because the game CD's are scratched or you want a backup on your hard drive.

People work hard to write the games, draw the graphics, produce the movies and write the manuals. Don't you think that they deserve to be paid for the work they do? Everyone complains that companies are outsourcing labor to developing countries yet they're not willing to support the domestic artists and craftsmen producing these games by paying for them.
Stop being a common thief, go and buy a legal boxed copy of the game and it will work fine. You deserve to have your time wasted downloading illegal material.

downloading off limewire will get you viruses. Whenever it says the file is corrupted, it either has a trojan, or it just is corrupted.

I have downloaded a couple that worked, but mostly they do not work, or they are a different game altogether, or they are riddled with viruses and spy-ware.
Let us know what you want, and we will see if we can find it.
