My boyfriend is a journalist and he told me that a girl called him because she liked what he wrote...I did not mind this, the thing I cared about is he delayed on telling me. Well he made the big deal about it, I don't know why if it is a simple thing. He told me he didn't say anything because he said I AM JEALOUS and I was gonna say: you'll leave me, you'll prefer her...I am not like that since a long while but I guess he kept that in his mind (my behavior). Then I told him that he may like to go as a single man to not miss the chance (because we do not live in the same city), he said I knew this would happen and he told me he wants to be with me and in case the girl is interesting he will tell me what do you think?

I think the more insecure you are the worse things will become. You obviously have something that captivates him. Be happy with yourself or you will be unhappy. Trust him, give him a chance. Believe that he cares for you only. Confidence goes a long way with men. Good luck!

If your boyfriend's career is going to be a journalist of a traveling nature, then either you pull up roots and travel with him, and be his sidekick, OR
Just move on, because he's going to be exposed to tons of women throughout his career, and this kind of stress can defeat most relationships. He either needs to have you by his side as he goes about his career, or he needs to change the focus (and his accessibility to other random females) of his career and be more of a homebody (like writing for the local paper...).

Somethings gotta give. You can't keep this up - long distance relationships are doomed to fail if one or the other doesn't compromise and give more to the other so that the relationship has a chance to grow roots (of trust).

Break up with him. That was rude for him to say "in case the girl is interesting he will tell you" He is trying to say that he wants you only if it does not work out with her..You are not some rebound chick!!!!

You have to either be able to trust each other, or not. If you can't, there isn't much of a relationship.
