Hi

I am a female, single mom (6yrs old son). I met this professional(doctor) through a dating site sometime in September. I really liked him very much. We met couple of times and I got carried away. Before we met, he told me that he cannot commit himself to one and may have many friends. I think I was taking more interest in him than he was coz I was awestruck by him and his successful career.

I called him a couple of times. He talks to me but he doesnt like me asking him questions and gets mood off with me. I really like him but dont know if I should quit talking to him. What is the point chasing someone when it is one sided?? I seem to be the one chasing him. I am attractive in my mid thirties and have a good job too.

How do I let him know it's over? Not taht he really cares. Do I email him or just stop talking. I need to get over this, but somehow get tempted to call him

Just forget about him....it's hard, but that's the only solution.

I think you over did it and maybe made ur self look desperate. A man can smell a desperate woman a mile away. You made a good point when u said the chasin is one sided but let me give u a word of advice you should never be the one chasing a man. A man likes when a woman shows interest, but never chasing him its a major major turn off. Plus sounds to me like he was not serious in the first place and is jus lookin for some booty calls. Dont call him anymore dont email him to tell him u wont call him anymore jus let it go. He is not the only man on earth and who cares about his career if you guys are not on the same level and want the same thing.

If he gets off mood when u talk to him, and doesn't like u asking him questions, i mean , has he even called you at least for once? because if not, maybe he's not looking for someone to date, i think u should email him and let him know that ur sorry if he thinks ur chasing him too much, and just tell him if he feels he needs a caring friend, u'll always be there for him.

Since you do like him, I suggest that you stop talking to him and give another guy a chance since you do not deserve to be thus treated. You might like the new guy or the doctor may come to a realization and get things straight. Best of luck.
