I was in this position and it's been 13 years so I would stay positive, join a support group and some of the medical sites to stay on top of treatments, options, etc, I would get 3 opinions about my cancer, get all the treatment options possible together and study them to decide what is the best one for me. I would eat healthier to combat the cancer by making my body stronger, I would live each day to the fullest. I wouldn't spend all my money but I would indulge on a few things I always wanted and go a few places I wanted to go. I would make peace with anyone in my past that there were bad feelings left behind from, I would learn to respect myself and if I'm tired I will rest, my answer to some things like if I want to go but don't feel like it would be no and I would not feel guilty for saying no either. I would detox people that were toxic to me in my life out of my life, I would tell everyone exactly how I felt about them and I would make the next coming Christmas one to remember me by with friends and family. I would go for massages and do things that made me feel better and I would be very compassionate towards others because I know how it feels to be sick.
I had the experience to live through this and there are so many people now hon, living with cancer just like people live with asthma and other illnesses that cancer is not always a death sentence no matter what the odds are.
listen to the song, "live like you were dying" it's a country song where the singer got the news that he had cancer or a mass, but he says he went sky diving, rocky mountain climbing, etc it's very moving and may make you cry, I cried when I heard it the first time because thats how I felt.
I have a 10.1 cm mass at present 13 years later and it's receding, they don't know if it's cancer or not but my ca125 test went downwards due to lupron therapy, so that's a good sign something is working.
You never know so don't blow all your money just yet.

In May of 2005 I was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer. With my particulars my chances of being alive in 5 years are about 46%. I am a mother of two small children and a wife to a wonderful man. I've spent A LOT of time in prayer, and I know tons of people are praying for me. I have been through surgeries, chemo, and radiation therapy. In August of this year I was declared stable enough to have reconstructive surgery. I have gone back to work (I teach), and I am living my life. I can't say that I don't think about the fact that the odds are against me, but I can't live my life worrying about dying. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to work while I was sick, so spending lots of money isn't an option for me, as I simply don't have it. I don't think if I did have it that I would spend any differently. I intend to beat the odds, so I'll need my money later.

First of all I would make peace with God and if I was living a life that is not in accordance with Jesus' teachings I would change my ways. Keep praying for a miracle and if it's not the Lord's will ask Him to help you accept His will. He is there for you at all times. It's never to late to do this.
Get a second opinion, if you haven't already done so do it. Seek Support Groups and be a support for each other. Work for the Cancer Society, they always need help. Do what the doctor's tell you and take any medication they may give you. If you don't have much confidence in your doctor find another one.
I will be praying that God will place His loving arms around you and comfort you in a way that only He can do.

THINK POSITIVE. Negative thoughts can actually cause harm to your inner self. Laughter, Joy, and postive thinking can be very rewarding. My mum has bowel cancer at the mo and is being treated for it. However she is remaining hopeful and hasnt let it stop her from doing all things she enjoys. Try self healing techniques, relaxation and meditation. Personally I dont really know WHAT i would do. But think i would just carry on as i am, still working, spending time with friends n family and enjoying life. I wouldnt wana over do it incase something else shortened my life. Good luck mate my thoughts are with you xxxx

I would get a second, third and fourth opinion from the best cancer clinics in the country. I would also do all the things I ever wanted to do. I'd set goals and achieve them. I'd make sure there is a lot of laughter in each day.
