I think bad English should be banned.
Seriously, your argument could be applied to almost anything. Some examples:
Should cars that go faster than 55mph be banned?
Should cigarettes be banned?
Should prescription drugs be banned, since some people become addicted?
Should guns be banned?
Should alcohol be banned?
Should the lottery be banned?
Should nice food be banned?
Should TV and video games be banned?
The answer to all of these questions is no. I don't want to live in a nanny state where the government bans everything that could potentially be addictive, or abused.
Online gambling is an enjoyable activity for many people. The fact that some people get hooked, is irrelevant. Prohibition doesn't work, as history has shown.

'Gabling ' Is that like babbling ?
Why should it be banned , I mean "Band" ?
3 out of the 5 words typed, are actually correct.
Anytime an activity that is presented to the general public that increases a persons bank account . Without the government getting a piece of it eventually gets banned.
But like Vegas or other places that made gambling Legal. It's obvious that they found a way to recieve a good slice off it.
Some Gambling sites offered free money to players who entered tournaments . We enjoyed that entertainment of a chance to win a Dollar . But California could not figure out how to take 30 cents from every winner so it is now BANNED from being played in California.
Everything is taxed and the wages you made and also taxed . Cannot be given away without it being taxed again. The government can make a dollar go a long way if they tax it enough.

Yes, gambling can be addictive, just as alcohol or caffeine can be.
To take a lesson from Prohibition (when a constitutional amendment was passed to ban alcohol), alcohol usage did drop by about 70%, but the alcohol distribution business went from legit companies over to Al Capone and others.
Today, in an age where millions of dollars can flow electronically to international, or even trans-national, groups, it's best to keep it legit.
Most of the money had been transfered from US banks to third-party companies such as Neteller (a publicly traded British company), and then from Neteller to the on-line casinos.

Banning the casinos creates a black market for such games. That market is responsible for large amounts of crime, including international terrorism. Putting gambling in the hands of corporations and regulations provides taxes for the government (how about making the taxes pay for gambling problems?) and keeps the criminal element out.
Gambling may cause addiction. Let's have companies pay enough in taxes to fund gambling treatment programs. If companies want to lower their taxes, they could find ways to restrict or limit gambling.

Gambling is fun and entertaining. Why should responsible people be punished because a few people lose all there cash to the addiction of it. I say gambling should be legal.
