i havent used WMM, I use pinnacle studio 10, but this is a general computer question so it should be universal.
When you burn to CD, your final creation, what format did you output it to?
VCD, SVCD?
Which means you properly prepared it for either a dvd player or even something like a play station.
A few considerations that might impede your ability to play the video. First, the CD might not have given a good burn, or could be incompatible with your dvd playing device.
Some older DVD players will not accept either the CD+R CD-R.
I havent run into this type of question for quite some time. But I do recall that older players had problems with one of the disk formats.
so theres a potential problem there. I believe the older format was CD+R, in which case those players wouldnt properly read CD-R, or vice versa
What format you saved or did not convert it to could be another problem. And, depending on if you verified the data and you did not have any BufferOverruns or errors then that could prevent the vcd from playing.
Now if you just burned it to as WMA or kept it as an Avi file, and you did not convert it, then that could be your problem right there.
You will need to either create a VCD or SVCD disk, otherwise all you did was copy and burn that creates a disk that can only be ready in another computer.
If you want to to be able to see the disk without worrying about formating it, or nothing like that , you would have to check the inputs on your model television set, and see if it has an S-Video connection, or even just the RCA colored connectors.
If it does then theres a few little devices that will allow you to see whats on your computer on your TV -- basically turns your TV into one big monitor--you could even work or play games using your TV this way.
DAZZLE is one, and even walmart has a DVDEXPRESSDK2 device that does the same thing. However I like the Dazzle Platinum - has good software.
Anyhoo. what this device does is it conects to your computer's USB port, and connects to your TV's s-video or RCA jacks.
there you go, whats on your computer monitor now shows on your TV.
Now I have never tried this, but say you only have an old TV with nothing but the cable connector in the back, as its only connection. Well...
There is something called an RF-Modulator that will change a cable connector into the S-Video and the RCA (red white yellow connections) and you could IN THEORY connect the two devices together(the Dazzle and the Modulator) and there you have it.
The poor mans way to work around and turn your old TV into a computer monitor where you can watch your newly created photo album with music with ease.
Thats the best info I can come up with on th subject.
Hope it helps some someone.

Any movies created using Windows movie maker has the extension *.wmv which is not supported by CD/DVD players connected to TV.
They support only some extensions such as *.dat, *.mpeg2 etc
It is better if u convert the wmv file into a VCD or DVD movie file or u have to make a video disc.
