Did you suddenly get overweight? Be sensible...you gained slowly...so lose slowly...simply decrease your intake (or increase your exercise). Faddish diets fail as it seems great to lose a couple of quick pounds, but the end is a return to your heavier weight. Obviously your caloric intake has been too high for your activity, so decrease slowly...and the pounds will slide off...do it quickly and watch the old habits return with more weight. Diet Pills are nonsense...it is the eating habit...not a pill that will make a change.

A good diet consists of good quality (organic) food as you can get your hands on. Take no part in processed and manufactured foods (as much as you possibly can) and stay away from sodas, cordials and the like. Its not a diet exactly, it is a lifestyle, our bodies are not geared up to receive an intake of preservatives, added colours, flavour enhancers etc... especially at the rate we are eating. You are on the correct path but as soon as you stop eating healthy you will go back to your old habits and the weight will pile up on you once more. Good luck.

Dieting is not the answer! The trick is to eat several SMALL meals a day and I do mean small! You need to eat very slowly so your body tells your brain that's it's full BEFORE you over eat and then give your body time to burn those calories off before eating again. Never eat 2 hours before going to bed because it will turn to fat while you sleep. If you try starving yourself, you will devour your food so fast at the next time you eat and your body will take extra long and more energy to burn those calories off. Look at food as a delicacy instead of the enemy and keep active.
