This same thing happened to me a while ago, so I guess I`m not the best one to answer this one, but I´ll tell you what worked for me...
First, I had a really big problem (getting divorced), which basically was the main reason I got Angy for nothing, I happen to understand which my problem was.... and basically accepted it. I couldn't change the fact that I was dealing with a bad situation but I tried to get the best of it... Now I get along pretty well with my ex and from time to time when I get angry or frustrated about something I run.... that is like my scape.... I started to work out... and that relaxes me a lot...

I had this same problem for a few months. Did you recently quit smoking? I found that when I started smoking again, my anger completely went away. I'm not saying you should start smoking, but if there was something you recently gave up, that might be your problem. You should seek counseling for your anger before it gets out of hand. My anger had gotten so bad I thought I was about to explode. Trust me, you'll want to get help before you do that!

Go see your family doctor or find a therapist and ask for anger management classes. You may need medication as well.
There are probably underlying reasons for the anger concerning things you could not control in the past.
It would be really good if you could take martial arts and let off steam and learn to control yourself.

Is it something your getting angry with or just in general, my brother has similar issues, I don't recommend medication, try counseling or trying walking away from the situation, drink a cold glass of water or go and lie down when you feel that urge to get violent or attack.
Think about what it is bothering you, maybe you need to get away go on vacation or something, maybe life is stressful, try doing something you really enjoy listen to music, avoid those situations that make you feel like that.
im sorry your feel like this.

I have felt that way for a long time... what I do is think about how I would feel if someone went off on me and I try to find other ways to release that anger. I write all the time and I throw my knives (at wooden targets not people)
I also walk a lot and try to just work thru what it is that makes me so angry sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't

I would try meditation, yoga and researching WHY you are getting angry. Do you feel out of control, like you can't do anything about it? If so this may be a chemical imbalance and if you can see a doctor about it. The book, "The Art of Happiness" by the Dalai Lama helped me deal with my rage. You can get it at http://www.amazon.com used or new. It helps you use your mind to work through your feelings. Hope this helps, good luck!

Scream on a pillow, drink tila and then lay down with some relaxing music. Exercise. Think about what makes you angry and realize it could cause you a heart attack, then, start thinking about living less stressed out and try to change bad habbits. Think for the better, don't be negative.
I hope it helps! :)

my way of dealing with my anger is really odd - but it does work!
my flatmates constantly annoy me .. they are so untidy etc and it gets me in a proper crying and being upset rage
and i realised that i can make all of the rage towards a particular person dissipate by breaking something of thiers... the satisfaction ot brings.. it is like a drug - calm just washes over me
i am cool with all of my flatmates now and i only had to "accidentally" break 4 bowls...
other anger i found is easier worked out by getting your best friend just to listen to you scream and rage when it all gets too much for you
drugs is not a good way to control it.. as soon as you come off them you will just get angry again:(

do not supress it. i am not saying become violent, but you need to deal with these feelings and see where they come from before you hurt yourself or some you love. Talk to someone you trust. Or a complete stranger.
