Well, here in the so-called "free" world, it's technically optional. But society seems to consider it mandatory, which is BS in my opinion. I'm a woman who has absolutely NO desire whatsoever to be a mother. I'm not curious about the experience of pregnancy. I don't have any "motherly feelings" or "motherly instincts". And I cannot stand kids. Some people tell me that I am wrong to dislike kids. Why? I'm not wishing harm upon them... I'm simply stating that I don't like them. I have no patience for children and all the crap they do. And I don't believe that anyone has the right to tell me that I'll learn patience, that everything would change if I had kids, blah blah. Actually, they do have that right since we have a right to free speech... But I do grow quite tired of the nonsense.

I would hope it's optional.
But what do I know? I'm not the one who is gonna be screaming like a pig under a gate huffing and puffing for 20+ hours trying to squeeze something the size of a bowling ball through a hole the size of a lemon.

Absolutely optional. The last thing we need is more people on this Earth. There are too many of us as it is.

It takes two to tango, so having a baby is actually a mutual decision. but the bottom line is there is always a choice.

its alwyas optional but more so if she remains single all her life.
