When someone calls your house and has the wrong number, especially when they are drunk and it is the middle of the night, have you ever told them something like (if they asked for "Mary"), "No, man, Mary died, didn't you hear?" Or "Sorry, dude, Joe's in jail. Do you think he could borrow some bail money from you?"

Just to mess with their head for waking you up at 3 o'clock in the freakin' morning.

No...but I'll have to think up something similar for people who wake me though they know I work nights!
Thanks for the inspiration.

Thats hilarious, i should try it out some day...though i dont answer phone calls that time of the night. I figure if it is important, they can leave a message. I will then hear them leaving a message. So far no one has called my place at an ungoldy hour.

Nope. Always shut the ringer off at night. Nobody's getting me out of bed in the middle of the night.

no but we use to call people and act like service repair people and the people would actually go to the door because we use to say we were out front or around the back looking for their addresss.

No, of course not. It I was asleep at 3am, I wouldn't be that fast with an answer. I wouldn't lie to them either just because they are drunk and didn't dial the right number.
What goes around..........comes around!!
