this is just a suggestion. it is the route that me and my husband took. we got our foster parent license and started fostering. you have alot of children put in your home and then sent back to their families (which is great if they have really changed). if you let the department of social services know that you want to adopt then if a child becomes available you will stand a good chance. i know several foster parents that went to the hospital and got newborns and ended up adopting. it his a very rewarding thing to do. i will be honest it can be hard at times. good luck and may god bless you in what ever you do.
