I know that sucks. But you have to look at anyone's behavior from inside their shoes.
People who do this honestly believe that if you do not convert to their point of view, you are going to suffer in the afterlife, or have less than others, or be eternally destroyed while others continue on, etc.
Therefore, it really is the most loving thing to do from their perspective. From inside their worldview, you are missing 2 hours of sleep but will possibly, by accepting what they honestly see as the truth, escape an eternity burning in a pit of flames, or life on a lower heaven, etc.
It sucks, but there it is. The logical consequence of their theology is that it would be selfish of them to NOT do the things they do.
Nothing except changing their theology will end that conviction...and changing their theology can only be achieved by giving them more respect than you feel they are giving you and then talking to them. And it will rarely work.

Those aren't Christians. Those are Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses. Get your religions right. I used to hate it too when I worked shifts and your home should be off limits to soliciting.

Put a sign on your door stating "No solicitors, no religions." If they refuse to obey, they are in violation of the law and can be prosecuted. No joke.

I agree it is very annoying to have people knocking on your door at the crack of dawn to hand you out christian pamplets that hold no significance to me.
And I actually believe in God!
I would prefer not to have people waking me up to preach to me, if I wanted to hear it I would attend church.

Just to let you guys know, Mormons and JW are Christian. They believe in Christ, therefore CHRISTIAN....
