8-10 glasses a day 8oz. each. If your catching a cold or fighting infection you will need more. Dry cold air will dry out your skin. Watch your salt intake, too. And moisturize a lot. Vitiamin E suppliments may help too. IF that doesn't work check with a doctor. Thryoid conditions and blood sugar problems can make you thirsty a lot.

There are many reasons for dehydration. It is most commonly a symptom of viral infection of some sort. Usually cold or flu is the culprit. Keep yourself hydrated,(drink water when you're thirsty). Eat regularly as well unless the nausea is to much. In that case then take multi-vitamins. Also sleep as best you can. An extra hour or two a day helps loads. If your symptoms persist for longer than three days or do not begin to subside by then, go see the doctor.

I would recommend that you see your primary care physician to perfom some basic blood tests. If your hands are dry, apply some hand cream. Continue drinking water or cranberry juice. Avoid any and all soda and foods high in sugar.

I hope that this will help you....and go to the doctor ASAP!

Get your thyroid, insulin levels and hormones checked. It's just simple blood test.

It isn't usual to be dehydrated inside and out.

Yes get all of those things checked. Are you on any medications? Could you have an infection? When sick our body works faster to clean our body out.

Well, even if you're drinking, drink the right amount and use lotion every day, especially around the elbows, knees, and heels.
