what is the purpose of death?

In my lowest moment my best imagination I could come up with is like a child taking several licks in his lollipop. As he ultimately getting the enjoyment of it someone just took it away from him.

A taste of life then kaboom! it's all over.

Death is not a sentient being. It is an abstract concept which is unfortunately a reality. It is inescapable.

It serves no purpose and it seeks no reward. It simply is.

Death was a state that God never wanted for us. It is the reward for sin. It is the enemy of Light and goodness...It is so sever that God sent Jesus to suffer it on our behalf.... Jim
