This is a pretty strong antibiotic and should not be administered to a dog without a veterinarian seeing the dog. It isn't just a drug to give without knowing what is wrong with your dog. This antibiotic is used for very aggressive infections in dogs. There is something called antibiotic Resistance which I'm sure you have heard about in people. This is where antibiotics are given without determining what is being treated specifically and creates "super bugs" that become resistant to antibiotic therapy. This is not something that will happen in the future but is something that is happening right now. There are currently a variety of bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics. Although there was a time when these bacterial infections were not life threatening they now are. Also if these were your antibiotics you should have used all of them since the doctor prescribed them as such. If you don't use all of them you are creating resistant bacteria within your own body. If you are concerned about your pet's health it is much better to take them to the vet and if they need antibiotics the vet can determine which ones are needed, which are most likely much less severe than Minocycline (Minocin brand name).
