Most hair extenstions are quite pricey. The weaving can run you anwhere from $150 to thousands of dollars at a salon, depending on time&effort, as well as the quality of the weaving and length. The hair you should be able to purchase fairly inexpensively at any hair supply store. If you are looking to syle the hair (crimp, blow-dry, curl, even color) you might want to buy human hair. It's a little more expensive but doesn't tangle as easily and I prefer it to synthetic fiber any day. It will take anywhere from 3 hours (for short weaves) to sometimes 8-10 hours for longer ones. Length of the hair will affect the price because as I said, the more hair, the more time. I would call around to salons and get estimates on price in your area. They could vary from my approx.

If you are getting one... you need to ask the hairdresser that is doing it this. It differs from state to state and salon to salon etc.
The salon should provide the hair. Cost differs mainly on the time it takes and the cost of the materials. Make a phone call!!!
