ummmm -- an ex is not someone you had phone and online convos with. An ex is someone you had a Relationship with in real life. No offense, but my advice would be to not be too caught up in the online social stuff, and look for boyfriends in the flesh.

first off, you dont have an ex cause you never met. telephone dating is one thing but telephone relationships do not exist. you werent boyfriend and girlfriend. you were acquaintances. you didnt get dumbed and you didnt break up cause you were never together.
secondly. what the hell is wrong with you? (now it's a question)
he didnt love you if he broke up with you. people that REALLY are in love dont break up. despite what Hollywood and novels tell you. this is real life and i suggest that you get one.

too many ex's in the situation too follow your story - typing in English would also help. From what I could gather yes you were wrong. Never go anywhere with an ex yours or theirs
