I know you are afraid to hurt her feelings but you MUST tell her! If it was me, I could only wish someone would tell me about it. You can do it very gently and tell her if you ever have bad breath you would hope she would tell you. People can't smell their own breath and if no one tells her, she will never know. You sound like a caring person and I have confidence you can find a nice, gentle way to tell her. Good-luck.

You need to tell her because I know she's talking to more people than you and it can't be good. You should start up a conversation about going to the dentist and he said you needed to brush more often, if not you'd get some gum disease. So it looks like your not a pro on brushing teeth either, and she won't be so embarassed. And then after chatting about that ask her who her dentist is, and if she says she doesn't have one tell her she needs to get one because its healthy! And then see if there's a difference in the smell.

You need to pull her aside and seriously speak to her about her bad breath, tell her that you are only looking out for her, and not trying to insult her in form. But this is a hard one, I had a friend that was her prob, but we told her and we just put up with it, she probably has a serious problem, but she needs to get that fixed. Be a great co worker and let her know, don't embarass her just tell her the truth and try to see if you can help her find some products to freshen her breath.

Write an anyonymous note. Just say something like, "I am doing this because I am your friend, and if it were me I would want to know. You have chronic breath. You really need to do something about it." I know it is funny in a way, but maybe she has some sort of gum disease or something, and she doesn't even realize how bad it is.

Offer them gum every day for one week...then the following week, make it a point to say (After "looking" for your gum)..."Oh no! I have forgotten my gum and I hate this...MY breath smells badly."....Instant...no hurt feelings....no hard feelings...they WILL get the message and it will appear as though the joke is on you...I have used this before..several times in my life...good luck!

You could just ask her if your teeth look whiter and say that you've been using a new toothpaste after lunch too and pull it out of your desk or something. And say how many more guys (or girls if she is attracted to them) have been looking at you ..Hope this helps

I never solved this problem with my own coworker. He just went on stiknin' till he changed jobs. But if you say you are friends maybe you can turn conversation to dentists and tooth aches one day. Maybe you can "incidentally" recommend your dentist to her. The dentist will do the explanations.

I HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM AS YOU. LET ME TELL YOU WHAT I DID. THE NEXT DAY AT WORK, I TOLD MY CO-WORKER, "HEY, DID YOU HAVE A GARLIC DINNER LAST NIGHT"? SHE SAID NO, THEN I SAID, WELL, YOUR BREATH IS REALLY BAD, YOU SHOULD GO TO THE DENTIST. SINCE THEN, I NEVER SMELLED HER AGAIN. I WAS SO INNOCENT, GOOD LUCK
