I would recommend you go to the doctor because by not eating and exercising as much as you are, that can lead to health problems, including gynecological problems like losing your period, which actually happened to me when I was your age. When you are exercising it is very important that you take care of yourself and eat right. You may want to even go to a nutritionist if you want to eat healthy. If you are concerned it could be a panic attack, it is good to go to the doctor about that as well. I had a panic attack once before and I had similar symptoms like a rapid heart beat. I was so worried there was something wrong with my heart because it was beating so fast. I got it all checked out and the relief of knowing it was a panic attack and was in my mind alleviated my anxiety and I have not had one since. So if you have not been diagnosed with having a panic attack, I recommend you go to the doctor because only a doctor can diagnose that and you may want to rule out any health problems.

I had panic attacks every day for two years. It's horrible. Yeah, doing sports without eating doesn't help. Your blood sugar crashes and you are more prone to stress. Your body can't handle the stress so it goes into panic mode. At least you are ahead of the game because you know it's panic attacks you are having. I didn't know for a long time what was happening to me, which is worse. Once I found out what it was it was easier to deal with it and now it's cured. Anyway, you are right, try to follow a healthier lifestyle. Eat at least an apple or something instead of starving yourself. If you are still having panic just go see a counselor or something. You could be keeping in a lot of stuff psychologically and that is how it is choosing to manifest itself.

Yes, in college I lived in the SF Bay Area and I had just crossed the Bay Bridge when the earthquake hit in 1989 and it just really freaked me out. My mom lived out there too and for many hours we could not reach each other and I had no idea if she was okay For a few weeks after I had about 1 panic attack per week and at the time I thought I was having a heart attack. I went to the university medical center and asked to see a heart doctor. I did and she said there was nothing wrong with me and I needed to go down to psychiatry. I didn't want to see a psychiatrist but I did anyway just in case it would help. After I saw the psychiatrist once and talked about the earthquake I stopped having the attacks.

Yes, I would have them after having nightmares about my Father. He is a mean old bastard. I would usually wake up kicking and screaming, and once I suffered from sleep paralysis which I think is a form of Panic Attack. That is like, one of the scariest things you can ever go through. Thank God I'm moving out next month.

Well I have had panic attacks in the past. This is also called anxiety attack. Mine felt like asthma and a heart attack at the same time. One day I had to be taken to the hospital because my chest pain was so bad that I could not stand up straight, and my arms hurt and my pressure felt very fast. When they checked me, no asthma, no heart problems, nothing, and I was still in alot of pain.

This happens when you have too too much stress, or have lots of problems and dont have an outlet forthem. When your mind is not right, the body actually puts your body in pain to let "you" know that something is really wrong and you need to stop whatever the cause of it is.

My advise, eat right, stop worrying so much you are too young, take a mini vacation or go to a spa to relax, and try talking about your anxieties and problems to someone that you can trust. Its not good to keep all these problems to yourself.

I've never had one of these and I think God for it. My wife has though , and it was very disabling to her. She visited her doctor who prescribed some Zanex which she has never had to take because her attacks have not reoccured.
