i have lost people I've loved, either because they left me in the case of old girlfriends, or they passed away, like my father.It's the same either way. You never "get over it." When someone you love is taken away from you the pain never goes away, it doesn't get duller, or diminish. When I think about those special people i've lost the pain is there just as much as the day I lost them. You just get used to the pain and learn to live with it. It is almost like losing an arm. Your life is never the same after, but you learn to get around without it.
Go out with your friends and live. don't dwell in the past. Make a new life for yourself, it will speed up the process.

i think it takes so long for a broken heart ot heal because your heart has to fing enuff pieces to put itself back together and to focus on something else! even once you've found that thing or things who'll still think about that person but it wont hurt so bad!

a broken heart may never heal until you find some one else to love. trust me i know.. i used to love this guy and than he turned out to be a jerk and i loved someone else instead. my x used to be my best friend but now he started a horrible rumor bout me. love is confusing!
