He would get destroyed. He may be a great wrestler, but he has little exprience with submissions and stand up fighting.
Even if he trained to get the skills he would need, his body is in such bad shape due to his time in the WWE that it would not be worth his time to become a pro mma fighter now.

kurt angle stated in an interview that he initially planned on venturing in to the MMA (UFC, Pride, etc.) scene, but he hurt his neck while wrestling and "pro" wrestling was offering a lot more money. if he entered the UFC in his prime, he would have been dominant. because that was the era of the wrestler where people like mark coleman, ricco rodriguez, and tito ortiz were dominant. then came the lindlands and the coutures... although they had been fighting in other orgs. but in the present day, angle wouldnt be able to get by on his wrestling/athleticism alone. matt lindland is a prefect example of a wrestler in mma as he is a world class greco-roman wrestler... but he developed into a pretty efficient submission fighter and he is arguably the best middle weight in the world. if angle started MMA in his prime he woud have been a force assuming he would have learned submissions. Puder would rape Angle in mma.

Since he has a wrestling style back ground I cant really see him in the ufc or pride. He would need to have a good stand up game & have some punch power.

He would never get into the UFC because he uses steroids, and on top of that he tried to have a fight under MMA and got caught in a keylock. He should stick to being a fiary in the male soap operas for you stupid dumb hicks who watch fake wrestling.

Dana White thought he might do okay and was thinking about offering him a deal after he bad mouthed WWE and said wrestling was getting too rough on him. Then instead of signing with UFC, he signed with TNA.

It's bad enough that Kurtski went to TNA and totally badmouthed WWE on-camera, which I think is total BS since WWE GAVE him such wonderful opportunities... but if Angle went to UFC, I'd f*cking want to tear him apart. I hate UFC, in case you didn't catch that.

Are you serious? He'd get his *** knocked out, your comparing a staged wrestling event to no holds barred fighting. I'm sure he's a tough guy, but it's a different sport.
