Question

How should i wear my hair with a strapless dress?
I am going to a Christmas dance and i am in highschool, im single, ive got my eye on a guy too....and my dress is black with some red ribbon detail.

ive got shoulders that arent broad, and long hair, it goes to about middle of my upper arms. is dark blonde too...

i asked before but i dont think i made my situation clear enough. i hope this helped.

It sounds like you should possibly wear your hair up. With average shoulder size and a strapless dress, this would show off your back and make your neck look very elegant and "swan like". You could pull the hair up after giving it some soft curls and leave a few wisps of curls hanging around the face. I would also wear a necklace. Strapless dress with a pretty necklace (maybe red to go with the ribbon detail) and an up-do would be gorgeous. Have fun at your dance. Hope i was of some help.

Wear your hair down, and if possible, wavy. A light color hair that is let down looks good against a dark strapless dress.
If you decide to wear you hair up, i would wear it in a red clasp (or any other clasp that would match your dress) with a classic necklace. If you have them, pearls are always a good touch for a strapless dress.

okay i think theres two ways to do it iwht a strapless dress.


if you have curly hair, you can use like hairspray curling iron if needed and do a low low neck side pony with curls hanging from both sides of your hair in a HUGE side part it looks absolutely gorgeous
CURLY HAIR
so hers how you do it, shower, put in mousee, like smooth the mouse in and then blow dry, till dry your hair should be curly side part it and then leave 3 curls from one side and 2 from the side shoulder that your ponytail is laying on.

STRAIGHT HAIR, i would blow dry till dry, then curl parts of your pony tail so that it has the affectation of curly hair, do the same where you pull three pieces on one side and 2 on the other the only difference is you will use the curling iron on these pieces


okay up do's. you want to have curled your hair, put it in a ponytail and bobby pin curls around the hair band of the ponytail. when you put your hair up you want to make sure the left side and right sides of your hair are curled and loose because that will look really pretty!

Strapless is to show off your shoulders, neck, cleveage... wear you hair up and if you do... you must have some kick a** earrings and necklace, because your neck and shoulders will look bare once your hair is up... This is your time to be all grown up... strunt your stuff.

i would put it half up, half down. the down part do some loose curls and add a little sparkle to make you glow, so then you'll be an eye catcher. and for the part that's put up curl it too and kind put it up a little messy and big, kinda sexy looking. you'll be a for sure hit!
