Eat lots of good fiber based things like oatmeal, whole wheat stuff and whole grains as well as fruit, raw preferred. And lots of bran.

The best over the counter medicine is Immodium. Drink extra fluids because you can dehydrate with the runs, cut back on fibre while you have the runs, eat softer foods. If this goes on for a long time go to your doctor, you may have a colon problem. Like colities or Irritate bowel syndrome. Don't panic if you see blood because lots of bowel problems produce blood. But go see you doc if it lasts too long. And don't be afraid to have a colonoscopy. It is not that bad and they usually put you out for it.

its probably your diet. Eat lots of fiber. cheerios for breakfast, PB&J with whole wheat bread for lunch, and Italian or Greek food for dinner. Hope this works for you! try it and tell me if it works. Good luck!!!!!
