How do I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 in moving a subject from one picture to another?

No matter what I've tried, for the past 4 months, nothing is working. Following the instructions fail on me. Pleeeeeas help!

umm what do you mean by subject? if you mean anything like a person you could use the lasso tool, preferably the magnetic lasso. you might need a steady hand. this is the easiest way to do it, and you could find harder more effective ways on www.photoshopcafe.com
