my brother is trying to break down the door because we kicked him out. my dad gave him money to go to the grocery store with my grandma who is sick. he said he was to her but never showed. he just took the money and left. he used to drugs when i was little. he's 26. i love him but he's crazy. what should i do? You must remember you're probably dealing more with the drugs than you brother. Sounds like he has some serious problems and needs some professional intervention. You need to protect yourself first and foremost and if that means calling the police and/or getting an order of protection, than so be it. He needs professional help which you are not qualified to give. If you love him you'll help him get the help he needs now before it goes to far. If he does'nt see it he won't seek help on his own and the intervention may have to be forced. It may be drugs or it may be some other type of emotional or biological problem. Having him arrested may be the only way to get him help. Think long term not in the now. If you truly love him and I'm sure you do, you'll get him the help he needs voluntarily or involuntarily. Some villages have agencies or resource centers to help you with problems like this. They can assist or direct you to someone that can. Best of Luck to you and him.

I'm sorry, it might be hard but...talk to your parents about it and maybe consider calling the police. He'll learn his lesson after spending a couple nights in the slammer.
