A lot of that has to do with the girl. If she is tall, than long hair would look better on her than short. But if she is short, than short hair would look better for her. I am 6'4" so a tall girl to me is 5'10" and over and a short girl would be 5'7" and under.
It all depends, I have known some girls that have had long hair and only ever wore it up in a ponytail, but once the cut it they did all kinds of cute things with it.

I prefer women with longer hair, it tends to bring out a glory or grace in them. But dont get it twisted, I have seen some beautiful women who keep their hair short.
