You are in an awkward position because, according to your scenario, these relatives invited YOU out to dinner, so they are your hosts. It would be inappropriate for a guest to rebuke a host for his/her behavior.
In this case, I think I would make an excuse like, "I'm really tired so I'm going on home but please, you stay here and enjoy yourselves", then get out of there quickly and never go out in public with them again.

Suffer it. Put on an expression of great discomfort and anger, and maybe people will see that you're not the bad half of the family. And if it gets to be too much, then leave.

English has somewhat some this type of element. The shorter the verb, the plenty extra in all probability this is to be of German extraction, and hence in all probability for use with a preposition to grant one in all those diverse meanings. positioned, take, supply, make, run, flow, come, sit down ... it rather is area of what makes English so very versatile, yet this type of nightmare for foreigners getting to know it.

Ask the person to please lower their voice and behave like an adult. If that doesn't work tolerate it for the evening. The next day when they are sober tell them how embarrassing it was for you. If they see nothing wrong with their behavior refuse to dine out with them........
