What is an 'indentification crisis', and how do you know if someone has this?/What are the symptoms?

God loves you, and you are precious to Him.

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!
(Digestion of above can even prevent depression and suicidal thoughts.)

Well, I've never heard it called "identification crisis" but I do know that many people throughout different periods in their life, go through Identity Crises. This is where people have trouble... "finding themselves." Parents experience it (especially mothers) when children leave the home, and so much of their identity has been into being a mother. That's just one example. There's no set way to know if someone is going through this... behaviors change, and people may try things or do things you normally wouldn't think they would do... to try to re-define themselves, find who they are as individuals. It also depends on their behaviors. Self-harm behaviors (cutting, entering bad relationships, etc.) can be harmful and anyone thinking of hurting themselves or others should seek immediate crisis intervention at an outpatient facility. A LOT of people go through a pretty common identity crisis called Midlife Crisis. And that is fairly typical... Hope that helped...

i have never heard of id crisis
would it be the same as amnesia??
